MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 02 June 2023 – KDB DARULEHSAN returned home to Muara Naval Base after a two-week deployment to participate in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA ’23). The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a homecoming ceremony led by the Acting Commander RBN, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN. Also present to receive KDB DARULEHSAN were senior officers, officers and ratings of the RBN Fleet, as well as the families of deployed personnel. The ceremony proceeded with
sujud syukur as a mark of gratefulness to Allah SWT for their safe return and was followed with the
Doa Selamat and
Doa Kesyukuran.
KDB DARULEHSAN’s deployment was led by Commander Saiful Hazril bin Ali, RBN and its crew successfully participated in LIMA ’23 which was concluded with the LIMA Sea Exercise whilst transiting the Malacca Strait. Their deployment signifies RBN’s continued commitment towards becoming a reliable and formidable maritime partner in the region, contributing to the region’s security and stability.
