MUARA, Monday, 26 November 2018 – Officers of the Junior Staff Course (JSC) Defence Academy RBAF 2018 paid a study visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base earlier today. Present to officiate the study visit was Lieutenant Commander Mohammad Nazrin bin Haji Sabli, Acting Chief of Staff of RBN at the Nakhoda Hall, Naval Tranining Centre.
The JSC officers were given a brief presentation on the roles of RBN and were also shown a short video illustrating RBN’s achievements during the last 50 years. The presentation ended with a discussion session, which gave the JSC students opportunity to get further insights and a better understanding of the roles of RBN.
Following the presentation was a short tour on board KDB DARULAMAN. They were given a familiarisation tour which covered areas such as the Bridge, Flight Deck, Sick Bay and Cabins.
The JSC Course is a 14-weeks course conducted by the Leadership and Management Centre, Defence Academy RBAF. For this year, the course is attended by a total of 60 participants; 52 officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, an officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force and 6 military officers from People’s Republic of China, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of the Philippines, Republic of Singapore, Kingdom of Thailand and Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
