MUARA, Wednesday, 29 August 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed seven (7) officers from the Fire and Rescue Department for a working visit to the Logistics Department, RBN Support Services.

 

The delegation led by Pengiran Haji Sabli bin Pengiran Damit, Assistant Director of the Fire and Rescue Department (Technical) was given a brief on the RBN organisation and roles of the RBN Support Services by  the Commanding Officer Logistics, Commander Mohammad Faizal Ezam bin Haji Abas, RBN.  Then, the delegation had the opportunity to visit Store Alpha, Store Bravo and an insight of the software that the RBN is using to monitor the spare parts inventory.

 

The purpose of the visit was to learn about the RBN logistics administration, acquisition processes, running contract initiatives as well as to exchange opinions and sharing information. The working visit was beneficial whereby both organisation can work together on common requirements such as maintenance of the fire – fighting equipment, fire detecting system and outboard motor leasing.
