LUMUT CAMP, FRIDAY, 11 AUGUST 2023 – The Finals of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Tug of War Championship 2022/2023 was conducted at the Mini Stadium, 3rd Battalion Lumut Camp. The tournament was officiated by the Guest of Honour Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, RBAF Commander.
There are two categories contested, namely the heavyweight and lightweight category. The final match for the heavyweight category saw the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Special Forces Regiment (SFR) in heated competition ending with the RBN crowned as Heavyweight RBAF champion for Tug of War. The third place was won by Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF).
The lightweight category finalist were from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and RBN, in which RBLF won the title of Lightweight RBAF champion for Tug of War. The Special Forces Regiment (SFR) has won the third place in the lightweight category.
The overall champion for RBAF heavyweight and lightweight Tug of War tournament goes to RBN for accumulating the highest points in the tournament.
