MUARA, Thursday, 14 June 2018 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) commemorated the end of ramadhan and coming of syawal with ’Eid Takbir’ event during the eve of 1 Syawal 1439H at Surau Al-Huda.After Isya’ prayer, the congregates commenced to recite the Eid Takbir led by Major Ariffin bin Amit, Assistant Head of Religious Department RBAF (JA’MAAT). Also present to the event was Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili, Acting Commander of RBN. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The recitation of Eid Takbir marks the conclusion of the 29 days of fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. The celebration act as the perfect opportunity for the Muslims to thank Allah S.W.T. for helping them get through the month-long fasting during the Ramadan holiday.
