MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 14 May 2021 – Muslims throughout the country today ushered in Hari Raya Eid Al-Fitri with mass prayers held at mosques and suraus nationwide including suraus at the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) marking the beginning of the month of Syawal – a festive occasion celebrated by Muslims in prayers, gatherings and feasts. It is also a time to seek forgiveness from families and friends.
Royal Brunei Navy also commemorate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri with Prayers held at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. The ceremony began with the Hari Raya Takbir followed by the Eil Al-Fitri Prayers and sermon delivered by Imam Faidil Rosemady bin Mohamad, the Imam of Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
Present as guest of honor was First Admiral Spry bin Hj Sejudi@Haji Seruji, The Commander of RBN. Along with Senior Officers, Officers and Men and women of the RBN. Later the guest of honour along with senior officers proceeded to Dewan Samudera to celebrate and enjoy a feast together with the personnel on duty during the first day of this festive season.
