MUARA, Wednesday, 01 June 2022 – Commodore Nasir Mahmood TI (M), Defence Adviser of Pakistan Accredited to Brunei Darussalam conducted a courtesy call to Commander RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Seruji.
During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to Commodore Nasir Mahmood for all the cooperation and support accorded to RBN and the RBAF during his tenure which he has held since April 2021. He also highlighted the long-standing relations between RBN and the Pakistan Navy built on a history of high-level exchanges, courses and exercises including Exercise AMAN, one of the largest multinational naval exercise in the Indian Ocean.
Both sides conveyed delights and affirmed that despite the challenges faced during the global pandemic, collaboration and defence cooperation are key to enhancing interoperability and to enable wider avenues of bilateral developments in the future.
