MUARA, Tuesday, 25 October 2022 – First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, received an introductory call from Colonel Russ Corwin, Defence Attaché of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, both sides affirmed the friendly relations shared as well as the robust bilateral defence and military cooperation between the two countries. Colonel Russ Corwin is in Brunei Darussalam for Exercise CARAT which is in its 28th iteration. Exercise CARAT, which will run from 24 until 31 October this year, aims to enhance regional military-to-military cooperation, build friendships, and boost professional skills amongst participating forces. This year’s CARAT will resume its physical format in some activities, and includes several professional exchanges, including Subject Matter Expert Exchanges and a sea-phase Field Training Exercise.
