MUARA, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 – The Defence Adviser of Australia accredited to Brunei Darussalam, Captain Richard Caton, PSM, Royal Australian Navy (RAN) paid a courtesy call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily. During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to welcome Captain Richard Caton to Brunei and congratulate him on his appointment as the Defence Advisor in December 2018.
During the courtesy call, they discussed on future potential interactions which could help strengthen the bilateral ties between the two navies.
Captain Richard Caton was recently appointed as the Defence Adviser of Australia accredited to Brunei Darussalam in December 2018 and this was his first introductory visit to the RBN.
