MUARA, Wednesday, 23 October 2019 – First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a courtesy call from Rear Admiral Murray Joe Tynch III, Commander Logistics Group Western Pacific (COMLOG WESTPAC) at RBN Headquarter today.
During the courtesy call, Rear Admiral Murray Joe Tynch III was very delighted to visit Brunei and attending Exercise Cooperation Afloat and Readiness Training (CARAT) Series 25/2019 as a representative of the United State Navy (USN). He was also very pleased to see the positive progression of EX CARAT which have been conducted between USN and RBN since the inaugural EX CARAT in 1994. Both navies are also looking forward to further strengthen its military ties and defence diplomacy through port visits, symposiums and bilateral and multilateral exercises both in the regional and international theatres in the coming years.
The courtesy call was concluded with gift exchanges between Commander RBN and COMLOG WESTPAC and a group photo session.
