GUANGZHOU AND ZHANJIANG, PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, Sunday, 21 October 2018 – The ASEAN’s Head of delegation held a joint call with the General Wei Fenghe, Minister for National Defense of People’s Republic of China (PRC). The joint call to represent Brunei Darussalam was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.
During the call, Minister for National Defence of PRC welcomed all the ASEAN delegation and expressed that he believed that they can work together to push forward towards the cooperation between China and ASEAN. He also mentioned his pleasure for the positive and fruitful bilateral relationship between China and ASEAN.
Later in the afternoon, all the ASEAN delegation departed to Zhanjiang by using PLA Air Force plane and attended a banquet hosted by the the Commander Naval Forces of Southern Theater Command (NAVFORSTC), Vice Admiral Wang Hai in the evening at Sheraton Hotel. The banquet also includes music which also showcased the Chinese traditional dance to entertain all the delegation. To end the banquet, a ship model of PLAN was presented to RBN Commander by the Commander and Political Commissar of NAVFORSTC.
Earlier in the morning, Commander of RBN visited to EHang Drone Industry in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, where EHang Drone industry is one of the companies in PRC that provided an intelligent aerial vehicles technology and service.
