CHABEL6Tuesday, 8th of February 2022 – after the surge of COVID19 cases in the Third-wave hit Brunei Darussalam. As COVID cases continue to rise in the early Endemic Phase back in January of this year, CHABEL6 has remained resilient and ready to stand tall in support of the nation’s mission to contain the virus’s spread amongst the population through mass isolation.

CHABEL6 was the fourth COVID19 holding area to be established in Brunei Darussalam. It is a whole of nation effort between RBAF, RBPF, MoH, MoE, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), NDMC, and Public Works Department (JKR) to continue to combat COVID19 in the country.

Frontliners from RBN continue to receive training and assessment in order to maintain the professionalism and high standards required by the MoH in order to provide the best administrative and clinical functions in accommodating patients at the CHABEL6 facility. Nursing officers from Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait ensured the RBN sailors are competent for their roles as Military Nursing Aides.
