BRUNEI MUARA, Wednesday, 09 February 2022 - In conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and as part of its Community Outreach Campaign, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) continued the cemetery cleaning campaigns at tanah perkuburan islam Kampong Pudak, Kota Batu and tanah perkuburan Sungai Panjang, Menteri.
A total of thirty-two (32) sailors collective from the Fleet, Base and Naval Training Centre (NTC) were involved during the cleaning campaign led by Chief Petty Officer Pg Yusran bin Pg Mohd Jasni and Chief Petty Officer Hairol Azmi bin Haji Metusin @ Haji Matusin with the presence of the Headvillager from Kampong Pudak, Yang Mulia Shahri bin Haji Duraman. The cleaning campaign began with a group photo session followed by recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa and were conducted in accordance with the COVID19 guidelines set by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health.
This activity represents RBN’s contribution towards the community and also to encourage sailors of the RBN to perform good deeds, to enhance spiritual growth and to further instil Taqwa.
