MUARA, Monday, 27 May 2024 – Colonel Sukumaran Praveen, the appointed Defence Adviser of the Republic of India, accredited to Negara Brunei Darussalam, made an introductory call to Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
During the introductory call, Colonel Sukumaran Praveen expressed his eagerness to collaborate closely with RBN and stressed the importance of maintaining open communication channels and fostering mutual understanding.
As Defence Adviser, Colonel Sukumaran Praveen aims to continue to engage with key stakeholders in the Royal Brunei Navy and other branches of the armed forces to deepen defence ties and promote strategic alignment between India and Brunei Darussalam.
