MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 19 January 2023 –
The Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin held a conference with RBN senior rates at the Senior Rates’ Mess, Royal Brunei Navy, Muara Naval Base.
The Acting Commander RBN was welcomed by Warrant Officer 1 Aliuddin bin Hj Sarbini, Warrant Officer 1 Roslan bin Duraman, Navy Sergeant Major and Warrant Officer 1 Irwan bin Hj Bungsu, Fleet Sergeant Major. The guest of honor was then brought by Warrant Officer 2 Hj Mohammad Sufian bin Hj Mostapa, the event’s chairman, for a group photo with the senior rates.
The event started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and continued with a speech by Acting Commander RBN. This conference was held in conjunction with the beginning of the new year and with the purpose of conveying wishes and messages from the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces to senior rates of RBN. The Guest of Honor reminded all the Senior Rates of the RBAF Core Values, which must be applied and implemented in the workplace. A question and answer session was also held after the speech and continued with a prayer led by Petty Officer Mohamad Norsafarizan Bin Hj Awang.
