MUARA, Tuesday, 2 April 2024 – In the spirit of Ramadan, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Mariner’s Club, a community for RBN’s Junior Ranks, hosted an Iftar event that was graced by the presence of Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN, the Acting Commander of RBN.
The event led by Leading Hand Pg Md Wafiuddin bin Pg Md Jailani, RBN, began with the breaking of fast and the mass ‘Fardhu Maghrib’ prayer at Surau Al-Huda, followed by an Iftar and interaction session at Samudera Hall. This annual tradition fosters camaraderie and provides an opportunity for RBN Junior Ranks to engage with senior leadership.
The RBN Mariner’s Club is dedicated to the welfare and professional development of junior-ranked sailors, offering a platform for networking and personal growth within the naval community.
