MUARA, Friday, 23 October 2020 – A total of 33 participants successfully completed the Able Rate / Lance Corporal Leadership Course Series 02/2020 held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre.
Present as the guest of honor was 720 Leftenant Aliasim bin Alias, Commanding Officer of KDB AFIAT. Also present at the ceremony were the Training Development Commanding Officer, 890 Lt Nazurah binti Kol (B) Hj Mahaleh, Sergeant Major of the Royal Brunei Navy 11323 PW 1 Pengiran Mohammad Soffian bin Pengiran Haji Metussin, Drill Sergeant Major 13936 PW2 Anizanazree bin Omar as well as invited Senior ranks and Course instructors.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by 50770 AB Ruzaini Bin Roslan and followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah whilst verses 30 to 37 was recited by 51225 AB Pg Hj Mohammad Hafizuddin Bin Pg Tajuddin.
This course was successfully conducted for 2 weeks organized by the Naval Training School which commenced from 09 October 2020 until 23 October 2020. The objective of this course is to expose the rank of Able Rate or Lance Corporal to perform given tasks effectively and to nurture leadership characteristic all through their career progression.
Receiving the overall best award was 51040 AB Muhammad Amir bin Hj Amdan.
The ceremony ended with a closing prayer and a group photo session with the Guest of Honor and Course instructors.
