MUARA, SELASA, 16 SEPTEMBER 2025 – KDB DARUSSALAM telah menyaksikan Majlis Serah Terima Tugas Pegawai Pemerintah yang diadakan di atas kapal berkenaan. Majlis ini menandakan pertukaran kepimpinan daripada Mantan Pegawai Pemerintah, Leftenan Komander Haji Mohammad Arnold bin Haji Osman, TLDB, kepada Pegawai Pemerintah yang baharu, Komander Pengiran Haji Khairul Anwar bin Pengiran Dr Haji Abu Bakar, TLDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan laporan Officer of the Day (OOD) kepada Mantan Pegawai Pemerintah, diikuti pemeriksaan barisan serta bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah. Seterusnya, Mantan Pegawai Pemerintah menyampaikan ucapan terakhir sebelum menandatangani parchment bersama Pegawai Pemerintah baharu. Mantan Pegawai Pemerintah turut menerima Tabik Hormat Terakhir sebelum beredar ke Ward Room.
Majlis diteruskan dengan laporan OOD kepada Pegawai Pemerintah baharu, diikuti ucapan sulung beliau sebagai Pemerintah KDB DARUSSALAM yang ke-9. Upacara diserikan lagi dengan bacaan Doa Selamat, serta sesi bergambar ramai di Jeti Bravo.
Komander Pengiran Haji Khairul Anwar sebelum ini pernah memegang jawatan sebagai Pegawai Pemerintah KDB AL-FARUQ. Dengan perlantikan ini, beliau secara rasmi mengambil alih pemerintahan KDB DARUSSALAM, disertai dengan pemeriksaan ke atas barisan anak kapal sebagai Pemerintah baharu. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa dan tabik hormat bagi meraikan kepimpinan Pegawai Pemerintah KDB DARUSSALAM yang baharu.

HANDING OVER AND TAKING OVER CEREMONY OF COMMANDING OFFICER KDB DARUSSALAM
MUARA, TUESDAY, 16 SEPTEMBER 2025 – KDB DARUSSALAM witnessed a Handing Over and Taking Over (HOTO) Ceremony held on board the vessel. The ceremony marked the change of leadership from the outgoing Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Commander Haji Mohammad Arnold bin Haji Osman, RBN, to the incoming Commanding Officer, Commander Pengiran Haji Khairul Anwar bin Pengiran Dr Haji Abu Bakar, RBN.
The ceremony commenced with a report by the Officer of the Day (OOD) to the outgoing Commanding Officer, followed by the inspection of the guard and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. The outgoing Commanding Officer then delivered his farewell address before signing the parchment alongside the new Commanding Officer. He also received his Final Salute before departing to the Ward Room.
The programme continued with the OOD reporting to the incoming Commanding Officer, who then delivered his inaugural address as the 9th Commanding Officer of KDB DARUSSALAM. The ceremony was further graced with the recitation of Doa Selamat, followed by a group photo session at Bravo Jetty.
Commander Pengiran Haji Khairul Anwar, RBN, previously served as the Commanding Officer of KDB AL-FARUQ. With this appointment, he officially assumed command of KDB DARUSSALAM, which was marked with an inspection of the ship’s company as the new Commanding Officer. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of a prayer and a salute in honour of the leadership of the new Commanding Officer of KDB DARUSSALAM.
