MUARA, SELASA, 26 OGOS 2025 - Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) telah menganjurkan Media Day 2025 Sesi Kedua yang dikendalikan oleh Unit Perhubungan Awam (UPA), Kementerian Pertahanan, bertempat di Mes PTB Kanan, TLDB. Acara ini menghimpunkan rakan-rakan media dalaman dan luaran termasuk Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB), Balai Kenangan, Jabatan Penerangan, serta wakil daripada Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) dan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB).
Dengan mengangkat tema “Bridging Communication for National Defence”, program ini menekankan kerjasama, kepercayaan dan keterbukaan antara Kementerian Pertahanan (MINDEF) bersama rakan-rakan media. Ia sekali gus mencerminkan komitmen berterusan MINDEF dalam memperkukuh jalinan profesional serta meningkatkan kefahaman mengenai peranan dan tanggungjawab melalui kerjasama media.
Sepanjang program, para peserta dibahagikan kepada tiga kumpulan dan menjalani aktiviti secara bergilir. Antara aktiviti yang diadakan termasuk lawatan ke kapal KDB DARUSSALAM, aktiviti kapal seperti menaikkan bendera, isyarat kod Morse dan ikatan tali, serta pengalaman menaiki bot selam milik Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG). Aktiviti-aktiviti ini memberi peluang kepada peserta untuk merasai pengalaman secara langsung operasi TLDB serta menghargai keupayaan dan tugas harian warga laut.

ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HELD MEDIA DAY 2025: SESSION 2
MUARA, TUESDAY, 26 AUGUST 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) organised the second session of Media Day 2025, hosted by the Public Relations Unit (PRU), Ministry of Defence, at the Senior Rates’ Mess, RBN.
The event brought together internal and external media partners including Radio Television Brunei (RTB), Balai Kenangan, the Information Department, as well as representatives from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
Carrying the theme “Bridging Communication for National Defence”, the programme underscored collaboration, trust, and transparency between the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and its media partners. This reflects MINDEF’s continued commitment to strengthening professional engagement and fostering greater understanding of its roles and responsibilities through media cooperation.
As part of the programme, participants were divided into three groups and rotated through a series of engaging activities at RBN. These included a guided ship visit onboard KDB DARUSSALAM, practical ship activities such as flag hoisting, Morse code signalling and rope tying, as well as an exhilarating boat ride onboard the Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG) Scuba Diving Boat. These activities provided participants with hands-on exposure to naval operations while enhancing their appreciation of RBN’s capabilities and daily duties
