MUARA, Thursday, 30 August 2018 – A promotion ceremony for the 27 personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to 27 RBN Personnel was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.The list of promoted personnel are as follows, 2 personnel received Substantive Warrant Officer 2, 6 personnel to Acting Warrant Officer 2, 8 personnel to Substantive Chief Petty Officer and 11 personnel to Acting Chief Petty Officer. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Ustaz Muhammad Rafi’uddin bin Haji Ali, Religious Teacher of RBN.
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat and light refreshments. Also present during the ceremony were RBN senior officers, officers, RBN personnel and family members of the promoted personnel.
