MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 12 October 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the Hajat prayer, the recitation of Surah Yasin and prayer ceremony at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base to seek for the protection from Allah Al-Mighty for the safety of the Palestinian people and the country. This event was conducted simultaneously with the involvement of military personnel and civil servants from the Ministry of Defence at all suraus in Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons, bases and camps, including Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru.
The ceremony was held after the congregational Fardhu Maghrib Prayer, followed by Sunat Hajat Prayer as well as the recitation of Surah Yasin and special prayers by the Imams from respective surau. Present at the surau was Commander Md Azrin bin Hj Mahmud, RBN Chief of Staff, Senior Officers, Officers and Ratings of the RBN.
