MUARA, Thursday, 14 June 2018 – In uplifting the reading of Al-Quran among the officers and members of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Khatam Al-Quran and Thanksgiving Prayer ceremony in conjunction of the Holy month of Ramadhan 1439H and* RBN’s 53rd Anniversary was held at Surau Al-Huda in Muara Naval Base.Present as the guest of honor was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
In spirit and completion of many holy activities during Ramadhan, commomeration of the event aimed to show gratefulness whilst inculcating religious development amongst RBN personnel.
The event opened with Al-Quran reading from Able Rate Muhd Hanis Hilmi bin Pawi, RGN reading Surah An-Nahl verse 90-95 followed by Zuhur Prayers. Main event started with Sunat Hajat Prayers and Thanksgiving prayer which then followed by Khatam Al-Quran, Tahtim, Tahlil and ends with Dzikir Marhaban.
The event closed with Doa recitation in hopes that RBN and Royal Brunei Armed Forces will continue to be blessed with spiritual personnels and divine blessings
