Thursday, 16 December 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) participated in the 1st ASEAN NAVY TRAINING EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE PROGRAM (ANTEEP) hosted by the Viet Nam’s People’s Navy and participated by ASEAN Navies from their respective remote locations. The RBN participated virtually from the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC) attended by LT Eddy Sahrany bin Emran, RBN and LT Zainul Abidin bin Haji Mohd Asnawi, RBN.
The 1st ANTEEP was a follow up of the Working Group Meeting held on 28th April 2021 aiming to establish ANTEEP as a platform for naval trainers and specialists to convene with ASEAN Navy counterparts in enabling the exchange of experience and expertise to enhance collaboration and interoperability, as well as build and strengthen confidence and trust. The 1st ANTEEP was centered around the topic of Onboard Damage Control Training where RBN delegations shared their experiences along with ASEAN Naval counterparts.
