MUARA, Sunday, 10 July 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the
Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha with Takbir Raya and Sunnat Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. The ceremony was attended by Commander RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji as well as senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN who performed mass Maghrib prayer, recitations of
Takbir Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha, followed by mass Isyak prayer.
The recitations of
Takbir Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha continued in the morning of
Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha before proceeding with
Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha Sunat prayer and a sermon by Imam Abdul Manan bin Othman, at Surau Al-Huda, RBN on Sunday, 10 July 2022. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, senior officers, officers and RBN personnel. The
‘Aidiladha sermon focused on the importance of patience and that Allah SWT constantly tests His servants with various trials and tribulations to strengthen our faith, piety and patience.
As a sign of gratitude towards Allah SWT, the recitations of the
Takbir Raya after each obligatory prayer, will commence from the 10th day of Zulhijjah and will end at the end of the
Tasyrik days which falls on 14th day of Zulhijjah of every year.
