BRUNEI-MUARA, Thursday, 21st April 2022 – In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan 1443H and as part of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) Community Outreach Campaign, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) continues to undertake cleaning campaign at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Kg. Mentiri.
A total of twenty-one (21) personnel, collectively from the Support Services, RBN were involved in the cleaning campaign. The cleaning campaign began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Lieutenant Noor Masyhadi Bin DP Hj Hamzah, RBN followed by the cleaning campaign activity led by Chief Petty Officer Mohammad Amir Shahrin Bin Haji Karia, RBN and concluded with Doa Selamat to bless the campaign.
The campaign focused on cleaning the Religious Hall, Ablution Room and mosque exterior; and adhered to COVID-19 guidelines set by the Ministry of Health. It is hoped that such efforts will continue in the future with the aim of reaping good deeds especially during this holy month, and to maintain good relationships between the RBAF and the community in promoting cleanliness, especially in places of worship as demanded in Islam.
