MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 11 April 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated Nuzul Al-Quran with a special religious lecture at the Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present was the Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Mat Seruddin. Also present were members of the Royal Brunei Navy Executive Board, Officers, and Ratings of the RBN.
The ceremony began with the recital of Al-Quran by 53159 Able Rate (AB) Muhd Asyri bin Abdul Ghapar. The ceremony was followed by a mass Zohor prayer and then a ‘Wirid and Doa’ led by Iman Faidil Rosemady bin Mohammad from Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
The special religious lecture was delivered by an invited guest speaker Ustaz Ahmad Ahyad bin Haji Amynoor with the topic “Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian Dengan Petunjuk Al-Qur’an”. The event also saw a presentation of souvenirs to the guest speaker at the end of the ceremony.
