MUARA, Tuesday, 12 June 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a special religious talk in conjunction with Nuzul Al-Quran at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present as the guest of honour was Acting Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Othman Bin Haji Suhaily@Suhaili, RBN.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 183 until 186, recited by 1183 Lieutenant Junior Grade Ak Mohd Fadhil bin Pg Ali, RBN and followed by mass Zohor prayer, led by Imam Faidil Rosemady bin Mohamad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
After the mass Zohor prayer, a religious talk titled _“Al-Quran Sumber Kepimpinan Adil”_ was delivered by invited guest speaker Dr. Hj Ahmad Asri bin Lubis, lecturer from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University.
The Al-Quran is one of the greatest miracles where the revelation of Al-Quran were done in phases to Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu’Alaihi Wassalam (S.A.W). The guest speaker also shared and reminded the eventual history of Islam during the revelation of the Al-Quran while at the same time instilled understanding and love for Al Quran especially during the month of Ramadan.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to the guest speaker by the guest of honor, Acting Commander of RBN.
