MUARA, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the ushering of a new Hijrah Year 1442 during the evening at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
The ceremony began with end of the year 1441 Hijrah prayer, a mass Maghrib prayer and recitation of the new Islamic year 1442 Hijrah prayer, led by Awang Abdullah Bin Mahri, Bilal of Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy.
In attendance was the Guest of Honour, Captain Sarif Pudin bin Haji Serudin, Commandant of Support Service, Royal Brunei Navy. Also present were RBN senior officers, officers and other ranks.
The ceremony concluded with Solat Sunat Hajat, recitation of Doa Hajat and Doa Selamat.
Similar ceremonies also simultaneously held in all surau in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Camps.
