MUARA, Thursday, 08 November 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the opening ceremony of its Dikir Maulud celebration at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. Present at the ceremony as guest of honour was the Deputy Commander of RBN, Captain Hj Othman Bin Hj Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN.
The Dikir Maulud will be held continuously for 12 nights to usher in the celebration for the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Ahzab (verse 21-25) by Ordinary Rate Mohd Hamirul Hazri bin Abu Bakar, RBN followed by mass Maghrib prayers, Dikir Marhaban and mass Isyak prayers.
Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of the RBN.
