Muara, Friday 19 April 2019 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) officers and spouses held a Regimental Farewell Mess Dinner in conjunction with the retirement of the former Commander RBN First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad.
The newly appointed Commander of RBN, First Admiral Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily with his wife, Mrs Nazatulshima binti C.A. Mohamed were present to host The Regimental Mess Dinner for the former Commander of RBN, First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad and his wife, Pengiran Datin Noralam binti Pengiran Haji Kahar, for celebrating his retirement from The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) effectively ending his services.
Showing his appreciation, the Guest of Honour delivered a farewell speech in which he spoke about his honor in serving the RBN for 32 years and thanked those who have supported him during his time of service.
The Officers of RBN also presented to the Guest of Honour and his wife with a farewell gift. Both the former commander of RBN and the newly appointed Commander of RBN were then invited by the band master in conducting the RBN Band.
Parchments were later signed by both The Guest of honour and Commander of RBN to officially mark the end of The Regimental Farewell Mess Dinner event.
