BRUNEI MUARA, Tuesday, 21 May 2019 – Officers and personnel from The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a cleaning campaign at three mosques concurrently at Masjid Kampong Perpindahan Serasa, Masjid Kampong Kapok and Masjid Setia Ali, Pekan Muara.
This welfare activity has been carried out this morning in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 58th Anniversary, the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) 54th Anniversary and to commemorate the holy month of Ramadhan.
The mosque cleaning campaign is an annual event conducted by RBN with the aim to inculcate the spirit of “working together” as well as the organiser’s way to give back to the community. It is also to encourage the importance of environmental awareness among the RBN personnel for the benefit of all.
