MUARA, Wednesday, 11 July 2018. All Ships and Departments under Fleet Headquarters (FHQ) of the Royal Brunei Navy held its annual Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri Armada onboard KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARUTTAQWA. The event began with the arrival of the Guest of Honour, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Pengiran Norazmi bin Pengiran Hj Muhammad, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
Also present were RBN senior officers, officers and personnel. The event then proceed with an interactive meet-and-greet session between the Guest of Honour with all fleet officers and personnel as well as all guests from RBN.
The event then continued on with a high tea onboard KDB DARUSSALAM followed by a photo session with all Senior Officers, Commanding Officers, Executive Officers, Coxswains and Heads of Department under FHQ onboard KDB DARUSSALAM.
This year’s Aidilfitri celebration featured an ‘Open Ship’ concept in which food and beverages were served onboard ships prepared by fleet personnel. This is also the opportunity to strengthen bonds and esprit de corps for all RBN personnel.
