BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 16th December 2021 – Amid the COVID-19 Transition Phase and reopening of mosques to the public, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) has continued to conduct cleaning campaigns at mosques across all four districts this week as part of its community outreach activities in conjunction with RBAF’s Diamond Jubilee. Today the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted cleaning campaign at Kampong Menunggol Mosque and Kampong Batu Marang Mosque as a continuation of these efforts.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of
Doa Menghindari dari Wabak Penyakit. The cleaning campaign was conducted by a total of 32 personnel from the RBN along with representatives of the respective mosque’s committee in accordance to the COVID-19 transition guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Health.

The RBN aligns itself with the RBAF to maintain good relationships with the community in promoting cleanliness, especially in places of worship as demanded in Islam.
