MUARA, Thursday, 31 May 2018 – In commemoration of the 57th Anniversary of Royal Brunei Armed Forced (RBAF), thanksgiving prayer was held today at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). The Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Captain Zil Husam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN Fleet Commander of the RBN. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and personel of RBN.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah An-Nahl, verses 90 to 95 by 18973 LH Abd Azim bin Ahmad Fadzillah, RBN.
The ceremony started with the mass Zuhur prayer followed by Sunat Hajat prayer, recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil. The ceremony concluded with a special thanksgiving prayer led by Imam Faidil Rosemady bin Mohamad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
The ceremony is to express highest gratitude towards Allah (s.w.t). The theme of this year anniversary is Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara.
