BRUNEI MUARA/TUTONG, Friday, 1 June 2018 – Welfare activity has been carried out this morning in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 57th Anniversary, the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) 53rd Anniversary and to commemorate the holy month of Ramadhan. RBN personnel were involved in a clean-up campaign at various Muslim cemeteries concurrently at Kampong Kianggeh, Kampong Subok and Kampong Penanjong. Present to lead the campaign on behalf of RBN was the Chief of Staff of RBN, Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN.
The campaign ended with a recitation of the Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Prayers for ex-RBAF personnel buried in the aforementioned cemeteries.
This cleaning campaign is aimed to encourage and enhance the spirit of togetherness between RBN personnel.
