MINDEF, Monday, 14 February 2022 – A ceremony presenting
Pingat Kerja Lama dan Perangai Baik (Tentera) for Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel was held in a decentralized manner simultaneously across multiple locations throughout RBAF. A total of five-hundred and seventy-five (575) RBAF personnel received their award today.

The Royal Brunei Navy recipients consisted of four (4) RBN officers and eighty-five (85) other ranks. All officers across services who received their medals were gathered at Bolkiah Garrison and was awarded their medal by Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah Bin Haji Sahat, Commander RBAF.

RBN other ranks were presented their medal by Commander of RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, attending as the Guest of Honour which took place at Parade Square Bravo, RBN.

The eligibility criteria to receive this medal requires having served with the RBAF for 18 years with honourable service.

The purpose of the medal presentation was to honour the service of soldiers who have served distinguishably in the RBAF. This year’s ceremony was organised by RBN and chaired by Captain Hj Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Deputy Commander RBN. The RBN congratulates all recipients for their dedication and commitment and hopes that others may aspire to achieve the same level of commitment in their service to the nation.
