MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 06 July 2023 – The Naval Maritime Operations School, Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy, held an Obstacle Challenge for the participants of the Intermediate Base Defence Course at the Muara Naval Base.
The objective of this Obstacle Challenge is to assess the course participants’ physical and mental fitness where the participants had to endure 6-kilometre route consisting of challenges testing their knowledge and strength that they have gained throughout the course. Most importantly the challenges are designed to test both their leadership skill and the spirit of teamwork among the sections.
This Obstacle Challenge is a part of the Base Defence course created to prepare the course participants for the Final Exercise in the following week.
The challenge concluded with a closing speech and prizes were presented by the guest of honour, Lieutenant Commander Ahmad Afifi bin Awang Antin, RBN, Officer Commanding Maritime Operations School, Naval Training Centre.
