KDB DARULEHSAN SAILS FOR ASEAN SOLIDARITY EXERCISE – 01 NATUNA 2023
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 15 September 2023 – In a significant display of regional cooperation and commitment to maritime security, the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) KDB DARULEHSAN has embarked on an 11-day deployment to Batam, Republic of Indonesia, to participate in the ASEAN Solidarity Exercise – 01 Natuna (ASEX – 01N) 2023. This exercise, organised by the Indonesian National Armed Forces, represents another opportunity to strengthen partnerships within ASEAN.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY SENIOR RATES’ PROMOTION CEREMONY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 15 September 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony for thirty-three (33) Senior Ratings held at the RBN Senior Rates’ Mess. Ten (10) were promoted to the rank of Acting Warrant Officer 1, twenty (20) were promoted to the rank of Acting Warrant Officer 2, and three (03) were promoted to the rank of Acting Chief Petty Officer.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY RECEIVES EDUCATIONAL VISIT BY SEKOLAH RENDAH TENTERA LAUT
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 14 September 2023 – An educational visit from Sekolah Rendah Tentera Laut to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was conducted consisting of sixty-three (63) primary students, and ten (10) teachers.
EXERCISE SEMBILANG SERIES 17/23 CONCLUDES WITH THE DEACTIVATION OF THE COMBINED TASK GROUP 17 (CTG 17)
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 08 September 2022 – The Exercise SEMBILANG Series 17/23, which began on Monday, 4th of September 2023, has officially concluded with a closing ceremony at Dewan Nakhoda, Naval Training Center (NTC), Muara. This exercise involved participation from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) as this year’s host, Marine Police, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and the invited officers from the Judge Advocate General (JAG).
RBN HOLDS CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT MASJID KAMPONG PERPINDAHAN SERASA IN COMMEMORATION OF RBN’S 58TH ANNIVERSARY
SERASA, Thursday, 07 September 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a cleaning campaign at Masjid Kampong Perpindahan Serasa commemorating RBN’s 58th Anniversary. Forty-five (45) officers and ratings from the Base Department of the RBN took part in the cleaning campaign.
MOTIVATIONAL TALK FOR RBN SERVICEWOMEN IN COMMEMORATION OF ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S 58TH ANNIVERSARY.
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 07 September 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a motivational talk entitled “Leadership from an Islamic Perspective” at the Dewan Nakhoda, Naval Training Center which was delivered by the guest speaker, Ustazah Siti Hanisah Binti Haji Othman. Present at the event were the servicewomen of RBN consisting of both officers and ratings. The guest of honor for the ceremony was the Chairman of the RBN 58th Anniversary committee, Commander Pengiran Norkumilasari Binti Pengiran Haji Azahari.
