MERAGANG BEACH CLEANUP CAMPAIGN IN COMMEMORATION OF ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S 58TH ANNIVERSARY
MERAGANG BEACH, Friday, 30 September 2023 – Two (02) officers and eighty-three (83) ratings from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) have carried out cleaning campaign activities at Meragang Beach commemorating the RBN’s 58th Anniversary.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS SEMARAK MAULUD EVENT
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 29 September 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN)
held Majlis Semarak Maulud Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. 1445 Hijrah at Surau Al-Huda. The
event commenced with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and the recital of
Surah Hud, followed by a special lecture by Ustaz Hj Asmat bin Haji Tuah
themed: ‘Sunnah Dihayati, Hidup Diberkati’.
PASSAGE EXERCISE BETWEEN HMS SPEY OF THE ROYAL NAVY AND KDB BERKAT OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
BRUNEI WATERS, Thursday, 28 September 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) KDB BERKAT and the Royal Navy’s (RN) HMS SPEY conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) in Brunei waters upon her departure from Brunei Darussalam for a logistic visit.

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 26 September 2023 – Rear Admiral Geoffroy d’Andigne, Commander of Armed Forces in French Polynesia, Commander of the Pacific Experimental Center, Commander of the Pacific Ocean and French Polynesian Maritime Zones and Commander of the French Polynesia Defense Base conducted a working visit to the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) Naval Training Centre. The visit consisted of an organizational brief and a visit to RBN’s Full Mission Bridge Simulator.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY INDUCTION COURSE VISITS MARABURONG PRISON TRAINING CENTRE
TUTONG, Tuesday, 26 September 2023 – Twenty-nine (29) Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel visited Maraburong Prison Training Centre, Tutong as part of the Induction Course for the recently commissioned Ordinary Rates of Intake 171. The visit was led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Nooramallina binti Ismail, RBN, Second-in-Command Naval Training School, Naval Training Centre.
KDB DARULEHSAN SAFELY RETURNS TO MUARA NAVAL BASE AFTER PARTICIPATING IN ASEX-01N 2023
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Monday, 25th September 2023 – KDB DARULEHSAN has safely returned to Muara Naval Base from Natuna Island, Republic of Indonesia after participating in the inaugural ASEAN Joint military exercise – ASEAN Solidarity Exercise – 01 Natuna (ASEX-01N) 2023. Present to receive KDB DARULEHSAN was Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN, Fleet Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) along with Senior officers, officers and ratings of the RBN as well as the family members of the deployed personnel.
