CEMETERIES CLEANING CAMPAIGN IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES 62TH ANNIVERSARY
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY, Thursday, 25 January 2024 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 62nd Anniversary, officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted a cleaning campaign across eight different Muslim cemeteries as part of Community Outreach Program.
The cemeteries were Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kg Pulaie, Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kg. Terunjing, Tanah Perkuburan Piasau-Piasau Subok, Tanah Perkuburan Nuri, Kg. Belimbing Subok, Tanah Perkuburan Serai Pimping, Tanah Perkuburan Maritus Kg Manggis, Tanah Perkuburan Kg Salambigar dan Tanah Perkuburan Sungai Kebun.
All eight events were held concurrently, commencing with a cleaning campaign and followed by a recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil for the departed members of RBN.
The campaign serves as an act of remembrance and appreciation of the officers and personnel who have passed away whilst serving in the RBN and contributing back to the community.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOSTED THE 8th NAVAL WORKING GROUP WITH THE INDONESIAN NAVY
MUARA, Wednesday, 24 January 2024 -The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted the 8th Naval Working Group (NWG) with the Indonesian Navy (IDN) at the Naval Training Centre. The 8th NWG served as a platform for both navies to discuss and enhance their cooperative strategies in various areas, including joint naval exercises, information sharing, and capacity building.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY BIDS FAREWELL TO PHILIPPINE DEFENCE ATTACHÉ
Muara, Monday, 22 January 2024 - The Acting commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin received a farewell call from Colonel Angelo Gerard P. Ariles, Defense and Armed Forces Attaché to Brunei Darussalam.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY (RBN) PARTICIPATED IN THE WESTERN PACIFIC NAVAL SYMPOSIUM WORKSHOP 2024
NAVAL COMMAND COLLEGE (NCC), NANJING, People’s Republic of China, Thursday, 18 January 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) participated in the Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) Workshop 2024 which was hosted by the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLA-N) under the theme of “Maritime Community with a Shared Future”. The workshop was held at the PLA-N Command College in Nanjing, People’s Republic of China from Monday, 15th January 2024 until Thursday, 18th January 2024. Representing the Royal Brunei Navy were Commander Mohammad Nazrin bin Haji Sabli, Commanding Officer Base and Lieutenant Commander Abu Qusyairi bin Haji Yacob, Staff Officer Grade 2 Planning.
