NATIONAL FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 40TH NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATIONS
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei Darussalam – Friday, 16 February 2024 – As the sun rose over the vibrant capital, Brunei Darussalam officially commenced its 40th National Day festivities with a grand flag hoisting ceremony. In a display of national pride and unity, a monumental flag, proudly bearing the Sultanate’s colors, soared skyward, marking the commencement of celebrations.
10 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY OFFICERS PROMOTED TO LIEUTENANT COMMANDER AND LIEUTENANT
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 15 February 2024 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, a total of 10 officers of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were promoted today.

NAVAL TRAINING CENTRE, Wednesday, 14 February 2024 – The Naval Training Centre (NTC) held a handover ceremony between its outgoing Commandant Naval Training, Commander Willie bin Padan, RBN and the incoming Commandant Naval Training, Commander Mohammad Faizal Ezam bin Haji Abas, RBN infront of the grand entrance of the NTC, Royal Brunei Navy.

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 9 February 2024 - Captain Tanaka Hiroaki, Chief of Staff, Japan Training Squadron from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), made a courtesy call to Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, RBN, the Fleet Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) to discuss potential goodwill visit of JMSDF ships to Brunei today at the Fleet Headquarters.
RBN CELEBRATED THE REMEMBRANCE OF ISRA’ AND MI’RAJ 1445H CEREMONY
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 09 February 2024 – Marking the holy event of Isra’ and Mi’raj, special religious ceremonies were held simultaneously across all Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) garrisons and camps. Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), was present at Surau Al-Huda, joined by RBN senior officers, officers, and ratings.
