CHIEF OF STAFF RBN ATTENDS THE 10TH MULTILATERAL MARITIME VIRTUAL KEY LEADERS ENGAGEMENT (KLE) HOSTED BY THE UNITED STATES PACIFIC FLEET
MUARA, Thursday, 13 June 2024 – Commander Md Azrin bin Hj Mahmud, Chief of Staff RBN, attended the 10th Multilateral Maritime Virtual Key Leaders Engagement (KLE) hosted by Admiral Stephen T. Web Koehler, Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet (USPACFLT). The KLE represents a virtual platform to communicate and discuss matters of mutual concerns, and in this series, discussions revolve around the theme of “Maritime Security Situation Indo-Pacific: Opportunities and Challenges”.
PLATOON COMMANDER COURSE AND PLATOON SERGEANT COURSE SESSION 2024
PENANJONG GARISSON, Thursday, 13 June 2024 - The 2024 Platoon Commander Course and Platoon Sergeant Course, conducted by the School of Infantry, began on March 25, 2024, and concluded on Friday, June 14, 2024. This 12-week intensive course aims to equip military leaders with essential skills and knowledge for effective leadership in various operational environments.

MUARA, Tuesday, 11 June 2024 – Colonel Markus Thiel, Defence Attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany accredited to Brunei Darussalam, paid a courtesy call to Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), at the RBN Headquarters today. The call was also attended by Her Excellency Ambassador Gerda Winkler, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Brunei Darussalam.
HANDOVER CEREMONY OF THE RBN SENIOR RATES’ PRESIDENT MESS COMMITEE
MUARA. Friday, 7 June 2024 – The Handover Ceremony took place at the Petty Officer, Chief Petty Officer, and Warrant Officer Mess, Royal Brunei Navy (Senior Rates’ Mess, RBN), where a new President Mess Committee (PMC) for the Senior Rates’ Mess, RBN, was appointed. The Guest of Honor during the ceremony was Warrant Officer 1 Irwan bin Haji Bungsu, RBN, Navy Sergeant Major.
