FAREWELL COURTESY CALL BY LIEUTENANT COMMANDER HARRY EDWARD BALL, BRITISH LOAN SERVICE DENTAL OFFICER
MUARA NAVAL BASE, MONDAY, 27 MAY 2025 – Lieutenant Commander Harry Edward Ball of the British Loan Service paid a farewell courtesy call to Captain Sahibul Bahari bin Zainal Abidin, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, following the conclusion of his assignment as Dental Officer with the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). He was accompanied by Chief Dental Officer of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Colonel Jefri bin Haji Abdul Razak.

91 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL AWARDED LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL (MILITARY)
PENANJONG GARRISON, FRIDAY, 23 MAY 2025 - With the consent of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 91 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Military) in recognition of their unwavering dedication, commendable conduct, and loyal service to the nation.
THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE JUNIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS’ (JNCOs) LEADERSHIP COURSE SERIES 02/2025
SERASA WATER SPORTS COMPLEX, FRIDAY, 16 MAY 2025 – The Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the Junior Non-Commissioned Officers’ (JNCOs) Leadership Course Series 02/2025 was held at the multipurpose room of the Serasa Water Sports Complex. The event was graced by the Assistant Chief of Staff Intelligence and Security, Lieutenant Commander Wan Abdul Naafi bin Metussin, RBN, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN LIMA’25
LANGKAWI, MONDAY, 19 MAY 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) led by Commander Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, the RBN Chief of Staff, participated in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA’25) from 19 to 21 May in Langkawi, Malaysia. The RBN delegation attended as part of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) contingent, reinforcing Brunei Darussalam’s commitment to enhancing regional defence cooperation and joint military engagement.
OPENING CEREMONY OF TADARUS AL-QURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY DIAMOND JUBILEE
MUARA NAVAL BASE, FRIDAY, 16 MAY 2025 - In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Navy Diamond Jubilee, the RBN held an opening ceremony for the Tadarus Al-Quran at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
