RBN CELEBRATED “MALAM JASAMU DIKENANG 2016″
Kiulap, Saturday 14 May 2016 – A total of 22 retired warrant officer and senior non-commissioned officers of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were celebrated with a Grand ceremony ‘Malam Jasamu di Kenang’ at the Grand Ballroom, Kiulap Plaza Hotel, Kampong Kiulap. This ceremony is to honor the devotion and sacrifice which retires contributed throughout their service serving the Royal Brunei Navy.
EXERCISE SEAGULL 07/16 DEACTIVATED
MUARA, Tuesday, 17 May 2016 – Today marked the closing ceremony for the bilateral exercise code name ‘EX SEAGULL 07/16’ between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Philippine Navy (PN), which was held at the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC), Muara Naval Base.
RBN PREPS FOR RBAF 55TH ANNIVERSARY
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday 19 May 2016 – 254 RBN personnel have once again started the rehearsals for the upcoming Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF) 55th Anniversary parade which will be held at the new RBAF Defence Academy located at Tanah Jambu. A total of 4 officers and 250 enlisted personnel are expected to represent the ecstatic parade.
RBN HELD AN EVENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH MALAM NISFU SYAABAN 1437
Muara Naval Base, Saturday, 21 May 2016 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held an event in conjunction with Malam Nisfu Syaaban at the RBN Surau. Present as Guest of Honor was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
10TH ANCM PREPARATORY MEETING
MALAYSIA, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 – The preparatory meeting for the 10th ASEAN Navy Chiefs Meeting (ANCM) was held on the 24th – 25th May 2016 at the Wisma Perwira Angkatan Tentera Malaysia.
18 RBN OFFICERS PROMOTED
BERAKAS, Friday 27 May 2016 – With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), the RBAF announced that a total of 2 Senior Officers and 72 Officers were promoted, and 18 were the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Officers.
