Muara Naval Base, Saturday, 21 May 2016 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held an event in conjunction with Malam Nisfu Syaaban at the RBN Surau. Present as Guest of Honor was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 147 – 153 of the Holy Quran by 1159 Lt JG Hafizuddin bin Mohd Yusof, Officer Under Training KDB MUSTAED.
After Maghrib prayers, Surah Yassin was read three times followed by the recitation of the prayers for Nisfu Sya’ban lead by the Imam of RBN Surau. The same event was held throughout all Surau of Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
