RBN FLEET COMMANDER ATTENDS INAUGRAL REGIONAL FLEET COMMANDERS’ CONFERENCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH EXERCISE KAKADU 2018
DARWIN, Saturday, 1 September 2018 – The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) conducted The Regional Fleet Commanders’ Conference in conjunction with exercise KAKADU 2018. The conference which is designed to generate robust discussions on matters of regional interests by discussing a variety of topics from the differing viewpoints of each country. Representing the Royal Brunei Navy was the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Fleet Commander, Captain Zil Husam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN.
RBN FLEET COMMANDER ATTENDS OPENING CEREMONY AND OFFICIAL RECEPTION EXERCISE KAKADU 2018
DARWIN, AUSTRALIA, Friday, 31 August 2018 – The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) hosted Exercise KAKADU and Fleet Commanders Conference officially began today in Darwin. Present at the Opening Ceremony and Official Reception is the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Fleet Commander, Captain Zil Husam bin Haji Abd Rahman, RBN. Exercise KAKADU is a joint-enabled, biennial exercise hosted by the RAN and supported by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAirF). Exercise KAKADU is Australia’s largest maritime exercise and aims to foster and strengthen effective security and humanitarian partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region through a series of training and engagement activities.
RBN HOSTS RBAF FINAL COMPETITION OF THE MUSABAQAH TILAWAH AL-QURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 57th ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 31 August 2018 – The Final Competition of the Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran for Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) organised by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held in conjunction with the RBAF 57th Anniversary at the Pahlawan Hall, Berakas Garrison.
27 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL PROMOTED
MUARA, Thursday, 30 August 2018 - A promotion ceremony for the 27 personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to 27 RBN Personnel was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
RBN HOSTS RBAF FEMALE CROSS COUNTRY COMPETITION 2018
MUARA, Thursday, 30 August 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted a cross country competition involving teams comprising of female personnel from each Royal Brunei Armed Forces units, which are the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), RBN, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Training Institute, RBAF.
SINGAPORE’S CHIEF OF DEFENCE FORCE INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Thursday, 30 August 2018 – The Chief of Defence Force, Singapore Armed Forces, His Excellency Lieutenant General Melvyn Ong visited Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) as part of his three-day visit to Negara Brunei Darussalam.
