RECEPTION ONBOARD RSS ENDEAVOUR
MUARA, Friday, 26 October 2018 – The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) hosted a reception onboard RSS ENDEAVOUR, which was attended by Captain Haji Othman bin Suhaili@Suhaily, Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) as the Guest of Honour.
MARITIME DOMAIN AWARENESS (MDA) DEMONSTRATION FLIGHT ONBOARD UNITED STATES 7TH FLEET P-8A MARITIME PATROL AND RECONAISSANCE AIRCRAFT (MPRA)
RIMBA AIR BASE, Friday, 26 October 2018 – The United States 7th Fleet P-8A MPRA flew to Brunei Darussalam to conduct an exercise with the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) from the 24th to the 30th of October 2018.
RSS ENDEAVOUR DEPARTS TO NEXT PORT-OF-CALL
MUARA, Saturday, 27 October 2018 – RSS ENDEAVOUR bids farewell to Brunei as she proceeds to her next port-of-call Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Present to send her off was Lieutenant Commander Haji Arnold bin Haji Osman, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB BERKAT. Also present were officers and personnel from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), as well as RBN band.
GRADUATION OF ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL AT THE 26TH INSTITUTE OF BRUNEI TECHNICAL EDUCATION CONVOCATION CEREMONY
BERAKAS, Thursday, 25 October 2018 — 12 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel were among the graduates of the 26th Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Convocation Ceremony at International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. A total of 10 personnel had successfully attended HNTec in Marine Engineering at IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus (JBC), Kuala Belait and 2 personnel had completed HNTec in Telecommunication System at IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus (SSRC), School of Aviation, Berakas.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR BASIC BASE DEFENCE COURSE 2018
MUARA, Thursday, 25 October 2018 – 17 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel and 2 Royal Brunei Airforce (RBAirF) personnel successfully completed their course which was held for about 8 weeks. The basic Base Defence course specifically conducted by instructors from Base Defence RBN. The closing ceremony was officially closed by the Guest of Honour, Lieutenant Commander Mohammad Nazrin bin Hj Sabli, RBN, Acting Chief of Staff of RBN at Naval Training Centre, RBN.
HEAD OF NAVAL INSPECTORATE/COMMANDER DOCTRINE AND READINESS GROUP, COLONEL DOUGLAS GOH, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE NAVY PAY VISIT TO NAVAL TRAINING CENTRE
MUARA, Thursday, 25 October 2018 – Commandant Naval Training, Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman today receives a visit from Head of Naval Inspectorate/Commander Doctrine and Readiness Group, Colonel Douglas Goh, Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) at Nakhoda Ragam VIP Room, Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). Accompanying Colonel Douglas Goh was Commanding Officer Midshipman, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Neo, Commanding Officer RSS ENDEAVOUR, Lieutenant Colonel Jerry Lee and Midshipman Course Commander, Major Ong Kang Guan.
