KDB DARUTTAQWA ARRIVES IN LANGKAWI FOR 15th LIMA ’19 EXHIBITION
LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA; Monday, 25 March 2019 – The patrol vessel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) KDB DARUTTAQWA arrived at Langkawi, Malaysia on the 25th March 2019 to participate in the 15th Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2019 (LIMA‘19).
DINNER RECEPTION ONBOARD KDB DARUTTAQWA
THILAWA PORT, REPUBLIC OF THE UNION OF MYANMAR; Thursday, 21 March 2019 - KDB DARUTTAQWA this evening hosted a reception onboard on the occasion of the goodwill visit to Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Present during the reception was the guest of honor, Rear Admiral Thant Syn Lay, Command Naval Dockyard and His Excellency Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Pahlawan Colonel (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Abu’r Rahmani bin Dato Paduka Haji Basir, Ambassador of Brunei to Myanmar.
KDB DARUTTAQWA ARRIVES IN THE REPUBLIC OF THE UNION OF MYANMAR FOR GOODWILL VISIT
THILAWA PORT, REPUBLIC OF THE UNION OF MYANMAR, Tuesday, 19 March 2019 - KDB DARUTTAQWA arrived at Thilawa Port, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar for a goodwill visit to the country. Present at the welcoming ceremony were Captain Zaw Win, the Commanding Officer Naval Dockyard and representatives from the Myanmar Navy. The officials then proceeded for a ship tour onboard KDB DARUTTAQWA.
RBN HOSTS RBAF SWIMMING AND WATER POLO CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS 2018/2019
RIMBA AIR BASE, Friday, 15 March 2019 – The Special Force Regiment (SFR) water polo team emerged as champions after defeating the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) with a 4 – 0 win at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Water Polo Championship finals held at Rimba Air Base Sports Complex this afternoon.
CHIEF OF ROYAL MALAYSIAN NAVY AWARDED THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY COMMAND BADGE
MUARA, Tuesday, 12 March 2019 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, consented to award the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Command Badge to Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), Yang Berbahagia Admiral Datuk Mohd Reza bin Mohd Sany, in recognition for his services in enhancing the relations between RBN and RMN.
KDB DARUTTAQWA SAILS FOR DEPLOYMENT SERIES 1/2019
MUARA, Tuesday, 12 March 2019 – KDB DARUTTAQWA set sail this morning to embark on a 25-day deployment to two destinations, which are Yangon, Myanmar and Langkawi, Malaysia. The ship is scheduled to return to Muara Naval Base on 5 April 2019.
