RBN ATTENDED IPC 17th WESTERN PACIFIC NAVAL SYMPOSIUM (WPNS)
MANILA, Wednesday, 18 September 2019 – The Initial Planning Conference (IPC) of the 17th Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) and International Fleet Review 2020 (IFR) was conducted on Tuesday, 17th September 2019 and Wednesday, 18th September 2019, hosted by the Philippines Navy (PN) at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila, Philippines.
8TH ASEAN NAVIES YOUNG OFFICERS’ INTERACTION IN SINGAPORE
SINGAPORE, 17 - 20 September 2019 - The 8th ASEAN Navies Young Officers’ Interaction (8th ANYOI) was held at Singapore City, Republic of Singapore from 27 – 20 September 2019. It was attended by 27 delegates from all ASEAN countries. Representing the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was Lieutenant Muhammad Hakim bin Haji Basman, RBN, Gunnery Officer KDB BERKAT and Lieutenant Junior Grade Mohammad Ikhwan bin Haji Junaidi, RBN, Executive Officer KDB MUSTAED.
RBN RECEIVES GOODWILL VISIT FROM TNI-AL KRI BIMA SUCI
MUARA, Monday, 16 September 2019 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed the arrival of Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL) KRI BIMA SUCI as a goodwill visit to Brunei Darussalam beginning on Monday, 16 September 2019 until Thursday, 19 September 2019.
EXERCISE PLANNING CONFERENCE FOR EXERCISE HORNBILL 27/19
MUARA, Friday 13 September 2019 – The three-day Exercise Planning Conference (EPC) for Exercise HORNBILL 27/19 between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) came to close today at the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC), Muara Naval Base.
50th SERIES GOH KENG SWEE COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE VISIT TO ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Tuesday, 10 September 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) today received the first study visit from the participants of the Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff Course (GKS CSC), Republic of Singapore. The course consist of participants from the Singapore Armed Forces and 6 foreign participants namely from Australia, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia and the United States of America. During the visit, Commander Shahairil bin Haji Mohd Shahlan, RBN, Acting Chief of Staff welcomed the delegation which was headed by Colonel Simon Lee, Commandant GKS CSC.
KDB DARULAMAN RETURNS FROM 18TH ANNUAL SEACAT AND AUMX 2019
MUARA, Tuesday, 10 September 2019 - KDB DARULAMAN returned to Muara Naval Base this morning after successfully completing two multi-lateral exercises, the 18th Annual Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) and the inaugural ASEAN-US Maritime Exercise (AUMX) 2019. Present to receive KDB DARULAMAN was Captain Norshahrinizam bin Haji Talib, RBN Fleet Commander.
