VISIT BY BRUNEI DARUSSALAM METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT (BDMD) TO RBN
MUARA, Thursday, 19 December 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed a visit from Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department (BDMD) consisting of 21 officers and staffs, led by Awg Mohammad Affindi bin Hj Sabli, a Meteorological Forecaster Officer. The visit entailed an exchange of knowledge and experiences from both organizations pertaining to the North East Monsoon, the current seasonal wind.
RBN RECEIVED VISIT FROM MUSLIM YOUTH CLUB UBD
MUARA, Thursday, 12 December 2019 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed a group from the Muslim Youth Club University Brunei Darussalam (UBD), consisted of 70 personnel led by Imam Hj Mohd Ashraf bin Haji Bujang. Their visit is part of their learning programme and in gaining insight to the working environment in RBN.
1ST NAVY STAFF TALKS BETWEEN ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY AND VIETNAM PEOPLE’S NAVY
HAI PHONG, VIETNAM, Thursday, 12 December 2019 - The Navy-to-Navy Talks between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) was held at the VPN Region One Naval Base in Hai Phong, Vietnam. The meeting co-chaired by the VPN Deputy Chief of Staff, Rear Admiral Tran Ngoc Quyet and RBN delegation led by Commander Hj Nor Ariwwin bin Hj Mohd Ali, RBN, Head of Inspectorate.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPERVISORY (OHS) COURSE SERIES 03/2019
MUARA, Wednesday, 11 December 2019 – The Occupational Health and Safety Supervisory (OHS) Course series 03/2019, conducted by the Inspectorate Unit of RBAF and the Naval Inspectorate Cell, concluded this morning at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). 25 personnel participated in the course, of which 12 from RBN and 10 from RBAF, two from Civilian personnel of RBN and one personnel from Muara Maritime Services (MMS) Sdn Bhd.
RBN RECEIVED WORKING VISIT FROM THE SURVEY DEPARTMENT AND MARITIME AND PORT AUTHORITY BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Wednesday, 11 December 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed participants from the East Asia Hydrographic Commission Workshop organized by the Survey Department and Maritime and Port Authority Brunei Darussalam for a working visit. The group consisted of 26 personnel led by Noorazlin Haji Mohammad. The visit is part of their program to learn best practices from the RBN.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL PROMOTION CEREMONY
MUARA, Wednesday, 11 December 2019 - Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony Series 04/2018 and 02/2019 for 18 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs). The ceremony was held at the Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’ and Petty Officer’s Mess, RBN.
